Island Hopping

Island Hopping

It's been a while since I joined my office friends' outing. It was one of the biggest outings I ever had since I joined my current company. Even though I'm a home buddy kind of person, I enjoyed it a lot. My friends/coworkers organized everything, from the island hopping boat to the food. Aside from the food included in the boat rental package, each and every one of our groups brought different types of food and desserts for everyone. It was a team effort. As for me, I brought some nostalgic Filipino snacks from when we were kids. All of them enjoyed the chips.

The Boat Crew was awesome. All of the staff were so accommodating. They helped us load our stuff on the boat, assisted kids and ladies, and made sure that everyone was comfortable. The boat itself is quite big and just enough to carry our numbers. This would be one of the biggest boats I've ever ridden in my life. The course was going to three different islands near Mactan Island. The only problem around that time was the small jellyfish that stung some of our colleagues but other than that, the islands were pretty nice.

One of the highlights of the trip was the food. There were smoked shells, grilled chicken, grilled fish, seaweeds with spices, vegetable salad, shrimp, and of course Lechon. It was so good. I almost forgot my name of how delicious the food was. It was the best! The most important part of the trip was the Comradery. New friendships were built and bonds were strengthened. I'm looking forward to more adventures to come with my friends and family.
